Boys And Girls

This is one big irony between boys and girls.
Boys who look like girls are called Pretty Boys. And the girls think they are hot. Just a random picture found from the internet.

But, girls who look like boys are called Quasimodo.
And the boys don't think that they are hot at all.

No I will not post any picture of them because this will make people afraid to view my blog.

1 Year Anniversary Of My Working Days

So in UNO Camp we did a lot of stupid stuff... Wait, this post is not about Radiance's dog breakdancing.
Anyways, when I was 1st introduced to DoReMi Music Centre, I thought it was a kiddy playground due to its name.
Since my teacher told me that teaching is also another form of learning because you'll gain experience, I've decided to become a music teacher.
And the plus side is, I'll get extra cash.
So the next time when I want to buy something I won't beg from my parents.
Begging is hard life. So beggars are to be respected, people.

It was before Christmas when I signed up for teaching. And it didn't start off well. My 1st 2 students were... Should I say, special. One was a very quiet 4 years old Malay girl, who can hardly understand me because my Malay language sucks so badly.
Another one was a 40 something Chinese uncle, for don't know what reason he wanted to learn piano. But as the days passed by, the amount of my students were getting bigger and better.
And yes, those 2 "odd" students stopped their classes, after that, no other students stop theirs.
And no, I did not threaten my students to continue their classes or else bla bla bla.
I'm pretty happy with my life as a part time teacher now, but the bad side is I can't hang out at the mall on weekends.
This is the room that I always use to teach students. Notice the Snoopy clock and the small chairs, it is a kiddy place after all.
And this is the piano that I always play when I'm waiting for my students. You always can stare at the internal part of the piano when you're bored or something. Yeah, this post has a lot of Christmas stuff because I'm really looking forward for Christmas.

Aberration In A Meal

This is the reason why I love western meals, especially eating at Wok & Pan.
A hot green tea - RM1.50.
A French fries - probably cost less than RM0.10.
But when you add them together - Priceless. P.S : If Lara, by any chance, reading this, I can become a fortune teller ady. =P
Another P.S : I still have the after-UNO-Camp-I-miss-it-so-much-and-I-hope-it-last-longer syndrome.
P.S again : What does P.S stand for?

My Plans During The Holiday

This is gonna be a long, boring post without any pictures in it.
If you can manage to read all of it, you are really a good reader.
The torturing days of school had come to an end.
And there's no point doing nothing at all during the holidays.
After a long time staring at walls, I've made my plans for this holidays, and here goes the list.

1. Study
When we thought we can relax in the holidays, the principal gave a disappointing advice,
"Study hard during the holidays, not just playing."
Since being smart is sexy, I've decided to TRY to study.
Although we've been constantly reminded that we must study since we are still in our mothers' wombs, studying is still a stranger to me.
And I need to pass, and hopefully get good marks, in my SPM.

2. Music
Which will most probably decide my future, I gotta practice till perfection 10 songs/pieces for both modern and classical music.
But I won't list out cus I don't think most of the classical pieces will interest you or whatsoever.
Heck, I don't think this post even interest you.

3. Exercise
I'm not hardcore about going to the gym because I still wanna grow tall.
I might be quite tall as the girls here said, it just plain means that you girls gotta start drinking 1000000000000 gallons of milk. Per day.
In Europe countries, I'm a head or one and a half shorter than most of them.
Instead, I'm talking about light exercise and a lot of jogging/running because I really enjoy them.
My goal is to run 2 whole rounds of Bukit Cina without stopping or even a slight slowing down.
And not taking the shortcuts. I think that sums up about 4-5 km.

4.Cooking
This is embarrassing, but I don't even know how to cook an egg.
I've always enjoy eating good food, but cooking is another level because you get to enjoy your own cooking.
My aim is to, at least, cook a nice dish of fried rice.

So, that's basically what I'd like to do but not sure whether I have the enthusiasm or not.
Stay tune for my progress!

P.S : I actually don't mean it about you being a good reader if you finish reading this post.
It just simply means that you are too free.

Leadership Camp

In the last 2 days I've been at Leadership Camp at Auyin Hill, Ayer Keroh. Which felt like we traveled through time to Ching Dynasty.
Throughout the whole camp we'd been really crazy.
Climbing high walls, using a thick rope to jump from one place to the other and somewhat like 50 people cramped into a nature pool.
We ended up learning nothing about leadership.

And from what I heard, 3 guys had polygamy marriage that day. The traditional way.
Forgive my retarded pose, its really cramming.
And the heck it looks like I have small man boobs.

Dinner At Holiday Inn

It was the day that I just got my salary. So I'm pretty happy and decided to eat at somewhere luxurious.
I brought my mother with me.
I didn't bring my father along because he went to Singapore. So I'm not an unfilial son.
But if he's here I won't take him too because he doesn't like western food.
My point is I'm a pretty damn cheapskate.

Anyways I heard the food at Holiday Inn are great. Its a 5 star hotel duh...
The design at Holiday Inn is quite impressive. They have this light which keeps changing its colour.
From pink, to yellow, and to green.
Then we saw this place called Sirocco Bar. They have quite many different types of beer there. And a coffeemaker which is most likely they stole it from Starbucks. When I thought that was a lot of beer, I saw this small room which have a wide collection of beer. As in a lot. They even have pole for the beers for... Beer Pole-Dancing. Then we saw a place where they sell dessert. They were selling half price for everything that time so its my lucky day. I bought 2 cakes and 2 Quiches.
After awhile of exploring my mom complained she was getting really hungry.
Or that was me.
So we headed to the real thing.
Notice that no smoking sign - A sign of high class. Notice the design - A sign of high class. Notice the weird food names - A sign of high class. And the expensive prices - A sign of high class.
This is the arrangement of the tables. Two weird sticks that looked like dildos so that you can do something while waiting for the food. They also have this classic pizza oven. After ordering the food, 1st up they served us something that we didn't order.
A hard wholemeal bread with weird sauces. And an advanced version of potato wedges. The green thing you see is not wasabi. Its some kind of grind green pea.
And the good thing is they didn't charge us for the bread and potato wedges. =)
I think the best dish is the appetizer.
It is called Prawn Kataifi. I don't know how they made the prawn, it is covered with some crunchy thing. It really taste good and even better when dipped in mayonaise. But the salad besides the prawns didn't really taste good.
After that they served Spaghetti Aragusta.
I don't really like this dish because it tasted a bit sour and salty. But the lobsters with the spaghetti sauce is really good. Notice the black and red small thing at the edge of the dish.
Its not raspberry or anything sweet. It is something very salty. I ate it all and had to drink a whole cup of water.
And the last one called Calzone Pizza. No its not a giant karipap. Inside is stuffed with beef pepperoni, chicken ham, herbs and mushroom. And the dessert was Strawberry Merquise. It looks good but it didn't really taste good.
I prefer the Tiramisu that I brought back.In conclusion, next time when you see a karipap - A sign of high class.

LCC's Awesome!

I didn't go to LCC actually.
In case you don't know why, I didn't have social phobia.
More on Bengs phobia perhaps.
Cus usually a lot of amateur Ah Bengs and Ah Lians go for LCC.
Hey, I'm not saying everyone of course.

I had dinner with my family instead. My brothers came down all the way from KL so I couldn't just absent for the dinner cus of a concert.
Besides we ate at Wok & Pan. Awesome food there.

After that, we went to Geographer Cafe. There's something about that place that made me coming back for more. I think its because of the atmosphere there. Many people of all races will go there like a big family.
No matter if you're black, white, yellow, brown, blue, purple or green.
Maybe not green cus Shrek hates crowd and will kill everyone there.
Wtf.

Another thing awesome about that place is the music there of course. It's really enjoyed by everyone and people danced to the music too. And another thing is this guy we saw that night. He's awesome. We went back around 12 am. When I get to see the empty roads of Melacca. By the way, from what I heard, LCC there had a 2 hours blackout.
And people eventually left as the event progressed because the concert wasn't up to good expectation. Seriously?
